SOFTBALL:


14U RULES:

  1. No new inning may begin after 1hr 45 mins.  Games will end at precisely 2 hours from start time.  Scores will revert back to the last completed inning unless the home team has already gone ahead prior to the 2 hour mark. 
  2. No time restrictions on any post season games.
  3. (Bat Around) the entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation.
  4. A team failing to field at least EIGHT uniformed players within 15 minutes after scheduled starting time of game, or at any time during game, shall forfeit the game. 

12U RULES:

  1. Five run rule is in effect except the 7th inning. If the game does not reach the 7th inning before the time limit, there is no unlimited run inning.
  2. No new inning may begin after 1hr 45 mins.  Games will end at precisely 2 hours from start time.  Scores will revert back to the last completed inning unless the home team has already gone ahead prior to the 2 hour mark.    
  3. No time restriction on any post season games.
  4. (Bat Around) the entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation.
  5. A team failing to field at least EIGHT uniformed players within 15 minutes after scheduled starting time of game, or at any time during game, shall forfeit the game. 
  6. Metal cleated baseball/softball shoes are NOT permitted.

 10U RULES:

  1. Five run rule is in effect except the 6th inning. If the game does not reach the 6th inning before the time limit, there is no unlimited run inning. 
  2. No new inning may begin after 1hr 45 mins.  Games will end at precisely 2 hours from start time.  Scores will revert back to the last completed inning unless the home team has already gone ahead prior to the 2 hour mark. 
  3. No time restriction on any post season games.
  4. (Bat Around) the entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation.
  5. A runner only gets one base on an overthrow.
  6. Once a player has control of the ball within the pitching circle all base advancement stops. 
  7. A team failing to field at least EIGHT uniformed players within 15 minutes after scheduled starting time of    game, or at any time during game, shall forfeit the game. 
  8. Teams can play with 4 outfielders if BOTH teams agree to do so and have at least 10 players.  Otherwise teams will play with 3 outfielders.  
  9.  Metal cleated baseball shoes are NOT permitted.
  10. "Drop Third Strike" starts from Day 1.

8U RULES:

  1. Five run rule is in effect except the 5th inning. If the game does not reach the 5th inning before the time limit, there is no unlimited run inning.    
  2. No new inning may begin after 1hr 45 mins.  Games will end at precisely 2 hours from start time.  Scores will revert back to the last completed inning unless the home team has already gone ahead prior to the 2 hour mark. 
  3. A runner only gets one base on an overthrow.
  4. Once a player has control of the ball within the pitching circle all base advancement stops. 
  5. No stealing bases.
  6. A team failing to field at least EIGHT uniformed players within 15 minutes after scheduled starting time of game, or at any time during the game, shall forfeit the game.
  7. Pitching machine for first 6 games of the season.  All remaining games will be Player Pitch.
  8. (Bat Around) the entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation.
  9. Total of 10 players on the field (4 outfielders).
  10. Metal cleated baseball shoes are NOT permitted. 
  11. Each batter will receive 6 pitches.  Foul balls do not end an at bat.  
  12. PLAYER PITCH ONLY:  If the batter receives 4 balls, instead of walking, they will revert to Coach Pitch to complete their at bat.  The Coach will pitch the remaining number of strikes available for the batter.  All pitches thrown by the Coach are counted as strikes.  The batter must either hit the ball or strike out on the remaining pitches.  There will be no walks in player pitch.
